Veneers

Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length.

Dental veneers can be made from porcelain or from resin composite materials. Porcelain veneers resist stains better than resin veneers and better mimic the light reflecting properties of natural teeth. Resin veneers are thinner and require rless removal of the tooth surface before placement.

When we prepare your teeth for veneers, we remove a very small portion of your own dental enamel. This gives the veneers space to fit perfectly along your gum line, which also creates a perfectly natural appearance.

Any effective cosmetic dental treatment is one that is not noticeable. Unless you tell someone that you’ve had work done, they will only notice that you have a fresh, beautiful smile.

Porcelain veneers are great for fixing a wide variety of aesthetic flaws, but we also have other options that may be appropriate.
